This Refund & Return Policy explains how returns, replacements, cancellations, and refunds are handled for all purchases made through kulturshock.biz.
By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms below.

 

1. All Sales Are Final (With Limited Exceptions)
Due to the nature of our products - including lifestyle goods, personal-use items, digital materials, and made-to-order merchandise - all sales are final unless your order qualifies under Section 2.
We do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse, sizing issues, or preference changes.

 

2. Eligibility for Returns or Replacements
We offer returns or replacements ONLY if:
The item arrives damaged
The item is defective
You received the wrong item
The item never arrived (verified by carrier investigation)
To qualify, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide:
Order number
Photos of the product
Photos of packaging
Description of the issue
If approved, we will issue a replacement or store credit. Refunds are only issued in the situations listed in Section 7.

 

3. Non-Returnable Items
For health, safety, and intellectual property reasons, the following items cannot be returned or refunded:
Digital products, e-books, guides, downloads
Online courses, memberships, or subscriptions
Beauty, health, or personal-use items
Opened or used products
Discounted or clearance items
Gift cards
Items marked “Final Sale”
Orders with incorrect addresses provided by the customer
Products altered, worn, or damaged by the customer
These restrictions protect product integrity and prevent misuse.

 

4. Order Cancellation Policy
Orders may be canceled within 1 hour of purchase if processing has not begun.
Once an order enters processing or ships, cancellations are not guaranteed.

 

5. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages
Once a package is marked Delivered by the carrier:
KULTURSHOCK is not responsible for lost or stolen packages
Customers must contact the carrier directly
We may assist with filing a claim, but reimbursement is not guaranteed
For packages marked In Transit, Delayed, or Pending, we must wait for the carrier’s investigation before issuing any resolution.

 

6. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective:
Contact us within 7 days
Provide photos and a description
We will replace the item at no cost or issue store credit
Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect product function are not considered defects.

 

7. Refunds (If Applicable)
Refunds are issued only when:
A replacement is unavailable
A product is out of stock
A verified carrier investigation confirms non-delivery
A return is approved and received in original condition
Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5-

10 business days depending on your bank.
A 20% restocking fee applies to all approved returns unless the issue was our error.
Shipping fees are non-refundable, except when the return is due to our mistake.

 

8. Digital Products & Courses
Digital products are delivered electronically and are non-refundable once accessed, viewed, or downloaded.
Refunds for digital products may be considered only if:
You have not downloaded the product
You have viewed less than 5% of the content
You request a refund within 3 days of purchase
You provide proof of purchase
Refunds for digital items are granted at our sole discretion.

 

9. Fraud Prevention & Chargebacks
To protect our business:
Filing false claims or chargebacks is considered fraud
We provide carriers and payment processors with all order evidence
Accounts involved in fraudulent activity may be banned
We encourage customers to contact us first - we resolve issues quickly.

 

10. Returns by Mail
If your return is approved, ship your item to:

Original receipt or packing slip
Reason for return
All original packaging, manuals, and accessories
For proof of delivery, we recommend UPS or insured USPS.
Unless the return is due to our error, all return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

 

11. Risk of Loss
All items purchased from KULTURSHOCK are made pursuant to a shipment contract. Risk of loss transfers to you once the package is delivered to the carrier.
As a courtesy, we may choose to resend or refund a lost order after you file a claim with the carrier and provide proof.
